This blog chronicles the miracles and struggles of our daughters, Emily and Olivia. Emily was born 15 weeks early and had many complications, but she continues to amaze us! Olivia, born in China with heart complications, is also beating the odds. She joined her forever family (us!) when she was four years old and has been doing wonderfully! UPDATE: We started homeschooling August 2009 :)

68%

Thanks to 15 generous donors, we've now reached 68% of our fund raising goal for March of Dimes. $1705.00 raised is WONDERFUL, but we're still aiming for a loftier goal. Last year our total was $2300 and we hope to do even better this year.

The bottom line is we're still hoping to raise another $700.00 in the next few days...and I know it's possible because there are more than 15 people reading this ;) If you haven't already donated, please consider making a difference in the lives of babies.

Trust me, I didn't plan on having a preemie, but more than a half a million babies are born too soon every year. It doesn't have to be that way. You can do something about it. Click here to go to our March of Dimes personal page to donate online. Just think think how good you'll feel knowing that you helped saved a life :) The life you save might be another Emily. And maybe she too will get the chance to grow up to be strong and beautiful.

Here our some pix of our miracle baby all grown up and glammed up. She became a pop star this week when she went with her Brownie troop to Libby Lu at the mall!
